Product Use
Can I use the Brilliant Cleansing Oil and the R+R Facial Oil together?
Yes – they are a complimentary duo that work together to cleanse, hydrate and balance the skin. You may notice that you need less facial oil after adjusting to the oil cleansing method, as the skin’s natural oils are not stripped out in in the process.
Can I mix the R+R Facial oil with my other skincare?
Yes – R+R Facial Oil can be mixed into masks, moisturiser and foundation for added hydration and also used as a treatment oil for facial massage therapy and Gua Sha.
It is also compatible with active serums and layers well with makeup and sunscreen; however, we recommend patch testing before wider application.
How long will it take my skin to adjust to using oils rather than conventional creams and cleansers?
If you are new to oil serums and cleansers, it can take a week or two for your skin to adjust to the new approach and reach a state of balance.
With regards to oil cleansing in particular, if you have been using strong soaps, gels or foams that leave the skin feeling ‘squeaky’ clean (and possibly a little tight and dry), you will notice that oil cleansing does not have the same effect. Whilst products and impurities will be removed, the skin will still feel calm and hydrated – and may require less facial serum or moisturiser post cleanse. You may notice reduced redness, due to less disruption to the skin barrier.
It is important to emulsify cleansing oils with warm water and remove all traces with a warm, damp flannel or muslin cloth. The cloth will help to remove the cleanser residue as well as very gently exfoliate the skin.
We recommend patch testing all our products prior to wider application to ensure compatibility with your skin.
My hair is coloured, can I still use the Circe Hair Oil?
It is appropriate to use Circe Hair Oil on hair that has been treated with colour, however we recommend testing on a small section first to ensure compatibility.
Are Gesamt. Total Wellbeing products suitable for children?
We do not recommend using our products on infants or children under 10.
Are Gesamt. Total Wellbeing products suitable for sensitive skin and/ or scalp?
Yes – however, please be sure to review the ingredient list for ingredients that might trigger any individual allergies or reactions and carry a patch test before using our products.
My product has changed colour, can I still use it?
Yes – a change colour is caused by the natural process of oxidation affecting organic oils when they are not masked by any synthetic dyes. Storing your products, with the cap sealed, out direct sunlight will help minimise oxidation, as does our amber glass packaging. If you do notice a colour shift, don’t worry as the product will still carry the same benefits.
Are Gesamt. Total Wellbeing products safe for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding?
Even though our products contain only safe, natural ingredients, it is recommended that you consult with your doctor before use, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Online Ordering and Shipping
Which countries are Gesamt. Total Wellbeing products available in?
All products are currently available to be shipped anywhere in Australia where Australia Post delivers.
Does Gesamt Total Wellbeing offer free shipping?
Orders of $90.00 AUD or over qualify for free shipping, which will automatically be applied at checkout.
What the standard shipping charge for my order?
Standard Australia Post shipping rates are calculated at the checkout as you place your order. All orders are shipped from Braidwood NSW.
How do I apply discount or promotional codes to my order?
You can enter discount and promotional codes to your order at the checkout in the designated field and they will automatically be deducted from the total of your purchase.
Discounts and promotional codes cannot be applied to past orders and cannot be manually applied to an order post purchase.
How long will it take to for my order to arrive?
Please allow up to 3 business days for your order to be processed. After processing, all orders are sent via Australia Post and estimated delivery time within Australia is 2-7 business days once shipped. Express post is available.
How do I track my order delivery after making an online order?
When your order has been processed, you will receive a link to the Australia Post tracking information, which will keep you across the progress of your delivery. If you have any questions about the status of your order, please contact us at hello@gesamt.com.au and we will be in touch to help as soon as possible.
Can I change or cancel and my online order?
We will endeavour to accommodate any changes to your order, before it is shipped (i.e., within 2 business days of receiving the order). It is not possible to make any changes or cancellations to your order once a shipping confirmation has been issued. please contact us at hello@gesamt.com.au if you have any queries about your order.
Can I edit my shipping address after I have placed my order?
Please ensure that your address is correct when you place your online order as we are unable to change it once received.
Does Gesamt. Total Wellbeing offer returns and refunds?
We are unable to accept returns or offer exchanges or refunds on our products due to their nature. If your product arrived damaged or your order was incorrect, please get in touch with a few images of the breakage or a brief description of what is incorrect at hello@gesamt.com.au within 3 business days of receiving your order and we will assist you as matter of priority.
What happens if my order doesn’t arrive?
It is your responsibility to ensure that a safe and secure delivery address is provided and that your shipping and delivery information is correct. We are unable to refund or replace orders due to incorrect shipping addresses, left, lost, or stolen packages.
Gesamt. Total Wellbeing will not be held liable for lost packages once proof of delivery has been received, but we will help in whatever way we can to track down missing orders, so please get in touch at hello@gesamt.com.au for assistance.
If the product I am after is out of stock how long will it take to be available again?
All Gesamt. Total Wellbeing products are handcrafted in small batches using the highest quality ingredients possible. From time-to-time, due ingredient scarcity, we run out of stock. Normally, there is a period of a 2-3 weeks before the item is available again, as rather than substitute with a lower quality but more readily available ingredient, we would rather wait for our trusted suppliers to have what we need. This helps us maintain our premium quality standards.
